75. BAFTA için adaylar belli oldu
Britanya Sinema ve Televizyon Sanatları Akademisi tarafından 13 Mart’ta dağıtılacak olan 75. BAFTA’nın aday listesi duyuruldu. Dune’un 11, The Power of the Dog’un 8 adaylık aldığı listede Belfast, Licorice Pizza, West Side Story ve No Time to Die da hemen arkalarından geliyor.
Oylama sisteminde değişikliğe gidip, üyeler dışında jürilerin de seçimleriyle listelerini şekillendiren BAFTA cephesinde yine bolca sürpriz mevcut. En İyi Yönetmen dalına girenlerden üçünün İngilizce olmayan filmler çekmiş olması -Ryûsuke Hamaguchi (Drive My Car), Audrey Diwan (Happening), Julia Ducournau (Titane)- bahsi geçen sürprizlerden biri örneğin.
Olivia Colman (The Lost Daughter), Nicole Kidman (Being the Ricardos), Kristen Stewart (Spencer) gibi iddiası büyük isimlerin yerlerinde yeller esen En İyi Kadın Oyuncu dalında Alana Haim (Licorice Pizza) ve Renate Reinsve (The Worst Person in the World) gibi hoş seçimler görüyoruz. House of Gucci’deki performansıyla Lady Gaga; Altın Küre, Critics’ Choice ve SAG’in ardından buraya da sızarak Oscar adaylığına adım adım yürüyor. Bu sene kendisi dışında tüm bu ödül gruplarına aday olabilen En İyi Kadın Oyuncu yarışçısı bulunmuyor fakat kazanma ihtimalinin düşük olduğunu da eklemeli.
Denzel Washington (The Tragedy of Macbeth), Andrew Garfield (tick, tick… BOOM!) ve Kirsten Dunst (The Power of the Dog) gibi isimler ise diğer oyunculuk dallarının görmezden gelinenleri.
